US Army’s critical missile defense system will play role at Project Convergence

The U.S. Army’s critical missile defense system will play a small role at the service’s major campaign of learning this fall – Project Convergence – in order to focus on the system’s progress through a challenging initial operational test, the head of Army Space and Missile Defense Command told Defense News.

The JADC2 [Joint All-Domain Command and Control] effort is expected to be the network of networks that the joint force believes it needs to fight highly capable adversaries such as Russia and China.
