The Minister of Defense is paying a visit to the Republic of Turkey

The Minister of Defense of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze is paying a visit to the Republic of Turkey, where he was hosted by his Turkish counterpart, Hulusi Akar. Juansher Burchuladze thanked the Turkish Minister of Defense for his unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and NATO membership, and stressed the importance of Turkey’s practical assistance in the development of Georgia’s defense forces over the decades.

…Talks focused on the importance of international exercises [and] issues of cooperation with NATO. The Minister of Defense of Georgia also met with the National Security Adviser to the President of Romania, Ion Opricor.
