A NATO analytical unit will not be established in Lithuania but a NATO Counter Hybrid Support Team will be sent to the country….

“Earlier this month, following the president’s conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Lithuania officially asked NATO to send a NATO Counter Hybrid Support Team,” Ridas Jasiulionis, spokesman for the president [said].


The president also said Lithuania’s existing geopolitical context “requires the Alliance’s’ special vigilance and readiness for potential incidents”.
