Next stage of “Three Brothers – 2021” int’l drills ends

The next stage of the “Three Brothers – 2021” international exercises held in Baku in accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan has been successfully accomplished, Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry has reported.

According to the exercise plan, the special forces were brought to a state of combat readiness and carried out the task of destroying the imaginery enemy group, which infiltrated into the depths of the defence of the units.



Baku Hosts First-Ever Joint Military Training for Azerbaijani, Turkish and Pakistani Forces

Special Forces from Turkey, Pakistan and Azerbaijan recently started trilateral exercises in the latter’s capital city of Baku.

The exercises, dubbed “Three Brothers – 2021”, kicked off on September 12 with the participation of the special forces’ commanders from the three countries.

Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan have entered the history of mankind as close friends and brothers…,” Commander of the Azerbaijani Special Forces, Lieutenant-General Hikmat Mirzayev was quoted as saying by the country’s Defense Ministry.

“Evidence of this can be seen in the solidarity and support of Turkey and Pakistan to Azerbaijan from the first day of the 44-day…operations launched by Azerbaijan against the Armenian armed forces on September 27, 2020,” he added, referring to the 44-day Armenia-Azerbaijan war in the latter’s Karabakh region last year….
