Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia trilateral defense ministerial is over

The Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia trilateral defense ministerial has ended in Georgia. Regional security [that is, “liberating” Abkhazia, Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Nagorno-Karabakh and South Ossetia], defense cooperation directions and future plans – these issues were discussed by the Minister of Defense of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and the Minister of Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar at a meeting in Tsinandali, Kakheti.

“We discussed current and future cooperation plans in the field of defense and security, as well as in other areas. From the perspective of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, we discussed what we can do for the prosperity and stability of the region,” said the Turkish Defense Minister.

“Today’s meetings are an example of strategic cooperation between our countries. During the trilateral meetings, the steps to develop relations between the brotherly and friendly peoples and to take a tripartite format were highlighted. “We discussed future prospects and talked about different areas of cooperation,” said the Azerbaijani Defense Minister.

At the end of the ministerial, the defense ministers of all three countries signed a tripartite cooperation document.
