As Blinken presumably signalled agreement, that position is also that of Washington. Of course no evidence has ever been provided there are Russian troops in the Donbass.

When last Russian soldier leaves: Kuleba lays out conditions for ending war in eastern Ukraine
All efforts of the international community are currently aimed at making Russia adhere to the diplomatic settlement of the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine, which will be resolved only when Russian troops leave the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba made a corresponding statement at a joint press conference with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Kyiv….

The armed conflict in eastern Ukraine will be settled only when the last Russian soldier leaves the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine’s chief diplomat stressed.
He thanked the Biden administration and personally Antony Blinken for the military support already provided to Ukraine to strengthen its defensive capabilities.

Conflict with Russia to be over after Russian troops leave Donbas, Crimea, – Ukraine
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the conflict with Russia will be completed only after Russian troops leave Donbas and Crimea. He said this during a briefing after a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

He also noted that since the start of the war in the East, Ukraine has become even stronger thanks to a strong army, diplomatic capabilities, and the support of the international community.
“You and I have been through crazy trials. We’ve been through the most difficult moments in our history….We have a strong army, strong diplomacy and strong partners,” the minister added.
. . . Or the World Bank and NATO cease to be effective entities. They are imploding all on their own, why are they pushing Russia to end their misery?

I am always amused when the rhetoric about “spreading democracy” fails to apply to places like Crimea and Donbass, or for that matter Catalonia.
Donbass and Crimea voted to leave. Ukraine signed on to the Minsk Accords which were facilitated by Russia, but in which they play no part. It is Germany and France who are the guarantors of Minsk, and where are they in pushing Ukraine to live up to the agreement?

Very good and much appreciated. How about other NATO nations’ – overseas – possession like Corsica, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Reunion, Diego Garcia, Guyana, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Martin/Sint Maarten, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthélemy, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, etc., not to mention several American territories in the Caribbean and the Pacific? I guess it doesn’t count if you’re in NATO.

For sure, but it’s more than that. Vicki Nudelman acknowledged the US spent $5B to run the coup in Ukraine, because Yanukovitch wasn’t compliant enough. That was OK, but when Russia, already stationed in the semi-autonomous Crimea (filled with ethnic Russians) facilitated two referenda, they are “interfering”.
Hong Kong never had “democracy” until the last Governor implemented a make believe form after the transfer agreement had been signed in 1984. It was run out of the foreign Ministry in Whitehall. Suddenly, Hong Kong is a bastion of democracy that China must leave alone.
Unless I missed something, the Republic of China (Taiwan) still claims to be the legitimate government of all China, which is apparently just fine, but the People’s Republic of China (the Communists) is “evil” for claiming Taiwan is part of China.
It’s time for the masses to seek help for their cranio-anal inversion.
