Sousan: UN should curb Turkish occupation aggressive policies

The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Ayman Sousan met Wednesday in the Kazakh capital Nur-Sultan, the UN delegation headed by Robert Dann, Chief of Political Affairs in the office of the UN Special Envoy for Syria and head of the UN delegation to the Astana meetings.


The two sides discussed the developments of the situations in Syria and the aggressive threats of the Turkish occupation towards the Syrian territories.

Dr. Sousan affirmed the need for the United Nations to assume its responsibilities to curb the aggressive policies of the president of the Turkish regime, stressing that it is unacceptable to keep silent about these policies, which pose a serious threat to security and stability in the region.

Turkish occupation-backed mercenaries shell Raqqa northern countryside

Turkish occupation forces and their affiliated terrorist mercenaries renewed their aggressions on villages in Raqqa northern countryside.

“Turkish occupation forces and the affiliated mercenaries targeted with heavy artillery al-Muallaq, Sidon and the vicinity of the M4 international highway in Raqqa northern countryside causing damages to civilian houses and properties”, local sources briefed SANA.

This is the second aggression on the same areas within 24 hours.
