First visit of PCSC delegation of NATO Partnership and Cooperative Security Committee to Georgia

The NATO Partnership and Cooperative Security Committee (PCSC) is on a two-day visit to Georgia.

Within the framework of the visit, the NATO-Georgia Joint Training and Evaluation Center (JTEC) hosted an interagency meeting on defense and security issues, with the participation of the National Security Council Office and the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. First Deputy Minister of Defense Lela Chikovani addressed the representatives of NATO member states.

At the NATO Madrid Summit, special attention was paid to the implementation of the “Customized Support Document for Georgia” through the strengthening of the essential NATO-Georgia package….

It should be noted that Georgia is hosting the NATO Partnership and Cooperative Security Committee for the first time. The visit once again confirms NATO’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
