The Minister of Defense of Georgia attended the international exercise “Winter 2023” in Turkey

The Minister of Defense of Georgia is on a visit to the Republic of Turkey. Zhuansher Burchuladze attended the day of honorary guests of the multinational training “Winter 2023”. Hulusi Akar, Minister of National Defense of Turkey, hosted the guests of honor in Kars. Minister of Defense Juansher Burchuladze addressed the participants of the training. He spoke about the importance of international cooperation and strengthening regional and global security. Along with the Minister of Defense, the Deputy Commander of the Defense Forces, Major General Zaza Chkhaidze and the Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Colonel Teimuraz Klateishvili attended the day of honored guests.

Turkey is hosting a large-scale winter military exercise in Kars province. 17 countries participate in international training, including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Great Britain, Italy and others. The training aims to strengthen combat skills in winter conditions.
