DSACEUR attends Military Strategic Partnership Conference in Qatar
NATO’s Military Strategic Partnership Conference 2023 wrapped up on Friday, Mar. 17, 2023 in Doha, Qatar with nearly 40 Partner Nations in attendance.
The conference, which began on Mar. 13, encompassed an extensive programme including a visit to the National Services Academy at Miqdam Camp which was headed by Deputy Supreme Allied Commander (DSACEUR), General Sir Tim Radford.
“This facility provides realistic and challenging training resources for a whole range of…military operations. Through simulations and up-to-date combat scenarios, the Academy in Miqdam Camp provides a unique environment,” said Rear Admiral Gunnstein Bruasdal, Deputy Chief of Staff Partnerships Directorate.
“Although a short visit for all our conference participants due to a high tempo programme, we have had a superb insight into this outstanding training facility which will be very useful for the NATO Partner National Military Representatives. The Qatari Armed Forces are clearly very proud of the services provided here….”
The National Services Academy offers excellent training facilities for all tactical combat training functions….The training facilities are able to administer several thousand personnel with a dedicated training structure of permanent military staff.
In addition to key briefings and presentations, the Annual Partnership Conference allowed high level delegations, partner nations and NATO staffs to engage with one another.
