United States supports Ukraine’s right to determine its collective defense

“Each country has the sovereign right to determine its own collective defense choices. We reaffirm our steadfast support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and Euro-Atlantic aspirations,” Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Ned Price posted on Twitter.

Thus, Price commented on the words of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba that Russian President Putin’s “red lines” are limited to the territory of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that, according to Putin, Kremlin would perceive the expansion of NATO infrastructure on the territory of Ukraine as an intention to cross Kremlin’s “red lines”.
