It is for Georgia to decide what alliances it wants to be part of to protect its own territory. Such a statement [was] made today [by] the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia.
“NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg and Secretary Blinken, both were very clear in their comments at the NATO Foreign Ministerial this week. This is a message that has been the same every year for the last 13 years, that Georgia and Ukraine will become members of the NATO Alliance.
“This is strange to hear Russia objecting to this now….Georgia has that right as well to decide for itself what military organizations or any other organization, this sovereign country wants to be a member of,” said Kelly Degnan.
The formation of anti-Russia and anti-China military alliances/blocs (AUKUS , QSD, CSPs, etc., being the basis of an ‘Asian NATO’) invites the formation of counter-alliances (Russia-China-Iran and more broadly). It would be beneficial to reinforce the concept that war against either Russia or China translate to war against both. This would form a potent deterrence, necessary to moderate the behavior of an increasingly war-addicted/aggressive US-NATO bloc.

Thank you very much. Much to ponder and process here. By way of historical background, Dostoevsky’s non-fictional work – Winter Notes of Summer Impressions, Diary of a Writer, his letters – are recommended. As is what has been translated from Vladimir Odoevsky, whom I’ve read was an influence on Dostoevsky.
Dostoevsky from Winter Notes:
Odoevsky excerpt with pragmatism in lieu of the Calvinism you mention:

Dostoevsky and myself must have cheated each other many years ago; I found The Idiot unreadable (translation?) but the (non-fiction) excerpt you linked here goes to contrast the [his] brilliant insight to today’s typical cheesy ignorance that passes for literature (e.g. Dan Brown.)
But it is Odoevsky’s brilliant satire of Bentham that should make me wish to pick up a book (if I can find it in English here in Serbia) thank you for that:
