Ukraine wants to boost number of international exercises in Black Sea

“Ukraine initiated a negotiation process with partners in the Black Sea region to step up confidence-building measures, increase the number of exercises and training activities,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Zelensky expressed hope that partners would support this initiative, emphasizing that stability in the Black Sea region is a common interest.

“The more efficient cooperation we have now, the more efficient response our societies will be able to give to any challenges in the future,” the President noted.
