USA working on organization of delivery of Stinger missiles to Ukraine
The United States is working with NATO alliance members to arrange for the delivery of Stinger shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine, the mil.in.ua (Militarnyi) publication has reported, citing statements by an unnamed U.S. administration official in an interview with NBC News.
Work on the delivery of the U.S. shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles is requested by the government of Kyiv, NBC News said.
“Ukrainian officials believe the Stinger surface-to-air missiles would help its military defend the country against low-flying Russian helicopters and drones,” the publication said.
The White House has reached out to a number of former senior national security officials and Russian experts over the past month to discuss its approach to Russia and seek out their advice.
Some of those officials, including former senior military officers and ambassadors, have urged the administration to adhere to a tough line, maintain a united front with European allies, counter Russian propaganda and avoid signaling to Moscow that it could secure concessions for its troop buildup around Ukraine, NBC News said.
A group of former national security officials and senior military officials in their letter to President Biden called for providing more weapons to Ukraine now, suggesting Stinger missiles and additional shipments of Javelin anti-tank missiles and radar to track artillery fire.
In November 2021, it became known that the United States is considering the possibility of sending Ukraine a batch of Stinger missiles and Mi-17 helicopters, which were originally intended for the Afghan army, the publication said.

US discussed shipping Stinger missiles to Ukraine: Report
Russia’s TASS news agency quoting a US State Department representative reported that the Biden administration had discussed shipping “Stinger man-portable air defence systems” to Ukraine.
TASS quoting the US official reported that the “Stinger issue” was raised as US administrations officials discussed whether the missiles could be shipped through a “third party” like Estonia.
I’m sure that Ukraine already has the Stingers. I can’t believe that the Russians had let the US use Russian territory against the Taliban during the Afghan war. This is the thanks you get, Russia. Especially after how many Russian servicemen were killed by these missiles when they fought in Afhhanistan?

If this were to happen, how long will it be before there is a repeat of the Malaysian airliner flight 17 that was brought down over Ukraine in 2014? The U.S. is just a complicit in these deaths due to arming these irregular forces as they are for killing innocents with their indiscriminate drone strikes. How long will peace loving nations and peoples tolerate the Wild West foreign policy of the U.S.? It is evident that condemnation will not be forthcoming from within the borders of the U.S. because thousands lose their lives in that country annually because of the tolerant attitude of the elected officials, local, state, and national officials. A violent domestic culture sees no incongruity with the exportation of that violence upon peoples of the globe in the effort to dominate. It seems like their policy is “we will kill you in order to give you freedom”. I don’t think there are too many cultures and so-called oppressed peoples that would settle for such a gift from the U.S.

You’re right. Smallpox infected blankets, vaporization of two Japanese cities, the immolation of Dresden. These are par for the course for the good old USA.
