NATO to Strengthen Presence in Hungary as Well
The NATO Summit, which Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also attended, approved the deployment of new NATO forces in Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovakia. Previously, the Baltic States and Poland had such corps, so now there will be eight in total from the Baltic to the Black Seas.
The strengthening is happening as the NATO Summit approved the deployment of new NATO forces in Hungary, as well as in Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovakia.

Let me supplement your account. If in your own words NATO was founded as a defense against the Soviet Union, should it not have been dissolved in 1991 when the USSR broke up into fifteen new nations and several disputed territories? Instead it expanded from 16 members and no partners to 30 members and 40 partners – on all inhabited continents. When it was formed, all but one of its members (Italy) was on or near the North Atlantic. Now 18 of its 30 members and all its forty partners except for Ireland are not. Then its bombing Bosnian Serbs in 1994 and 1995 and its wars in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and Libya have nothing to do with defending anyone against the Soviet Union or even the Russian Federation.

No, NATO’s role is to ensure the dictatorship of Western capital. No more and no less. Russia is the linchpin in NATO’s final victory. If Russia falls, China is next. And that won’t be much of a problem at this stage.
