Representatives of the Cyber Security Bureau of Georgia’s Ministry of Defence, the country’s National Security Council and the Digital Governance Agency have informed NATO representatives about the current challenges in Georgian cyberspace and ways of combating them, the Ministry said on Tuesday.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform the representatives of NATO member and partner countries, Finland and Sweden, about the implemented and ongoing reforms in the field of cyber security in Georgia”, the press office of the Ministry of Defence said.
The meeting saw the NATO representatives expressing readiness to continue “active cooperation” in the field of cyber security, while also highlighting the importance of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package….
The alliance’s delegation also reaffirmed the ongoing NATO support for Georgia in transforming the sector and improving its compatibility with NATO standards.
