The Minister of Defense of Georgia delivered a speech at the “Atlantic-Black Sea Security Forum”.

The Minister of Defense of Georgia took part in a high-level international forum. Juansher Burchuladze presented himself as the main speaker at the “Atlantic-Black Sea Security Forum” held in Romania in a virtual format. Together with the Minister of Defense of Georgia, Victoria Nuland, the Deputy Secretary of the US State Department for Policy Affairs, Vasile Dincu , the Minister of Defense of Romania, and Oleksii Reznikov , the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, addressed the participants of the conference .

The Minister of Defense of Georgia spoke about regional security challenges….Juansher Burchuladze emphasized that the Black Sea region, as an integral part of NATO’s eastern flank, is important for Euro-Atlantic security….According to the minister, it is welcome that the strategic importance of the Black Sea region for the alliance is emphasized in the new strategic concept of NATO .

The Minister of Defense also spoke about Georgia’s steadfast Euro-Atlantic aspirations and expressed hope that Georgia will soon become a full-fledged member of this family. Juansher Burchuladze expressed his desire to further strengthen the practical military cooperation with NATO and noted that important reforms have been implemented in the direction of the transformation of the defense forces in the recent period. According to the minister, Georgia, by participating in international missions, made a significant contribution to ensuring international security….The “Atlantic-Black Sea Security Forum” was organized by the Aspen Institute of Romania and the German Marshall Fund of the USA.
