President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey
On December 5, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received [a] delegation headed by the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey Hulusi Akar.
AZERTAC reports that the delegation includes the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, the Commander of the Ground Forces, the Commander of the Navy and the Commander of the Air Force.
Hulusi Akar conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of our state.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
At the meeting, it was reported that 2022 is a very successful year in terms of the development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and it was emphasized that our relations are getting stronger in all fields, including the military field. In this regard, it was noted that the Azerbaijan-Turkey joint military exercises currently held in our country are of great importance. It was reported that Azerbaijan and Turkey will always be by each other’s side from now on.
During the conversation, the role of the regular meetings held between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the development of our relations was specially noted, and it was emphasized with satisfaction that cooperation in the military field, as well as in other fields, continues successfully based on the decisions made by the two heads of state.
