Growing concerns: An ultimatum was set; New demands

In the north of Kosovo and Metohija, Serbs have been at the barricades for the 15th day, demanding freedom for the arrested and the withdrawal of Kosovo special forces from the north.

Serb List announced that Pristina published a new list for the persecution of Serbs.

The list includes almost the entire leadership of the Serbian List, prominent Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, but also the brother and son of President Aleksandar Vučić. Serbs in the southern province and officials in Belgrade reacted strongly and condemned Pristina’s moves, reports RTS.

Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, reacted today to the post of German diplomat and former EU representative in the negotiations on Kosovo and Metohija Wolgang Ischinger.

Dear @ischinger, do you even know why Serbs are protesting? Their pleas: 1) implement the Brussels Agreement (signed in 2013!); 2) basic rule of law (not to be arrested at will & kept hostage without even a contact with their families). Too much to ask for? Contrary to EU values?”, Brnabić wrote on Twitter.

Ischinger: Deeply concerned about the Kosovo situation

Ischinger previously stated that he is deeply concerned about the ongoing tensions in Kosovo and Metohija and assessed that urgent and decisive action by the EU is needed.

“Deeply concerned about continuing tensions. Decisive EU action/role urgent. Has Serbia been made aware that inciting violence in neighboring state Kosovo would make continued EU accession process impossible? @vonderleyen @JosepBorrellF” Ischinger wrote on Twitter, as RTS reports.

In response to announcements by Kosovo officials that they will remove the barricades if KFOR and EULEX do not do so, Petković says that Kurti “should not play with Serbian heads”. “One drop of spilled blood can lead us into a spiral of violence, and we certainly do not need that. We are the ones who are always advocating for peace and how to preserve the lives of our people in Kosovo and Metohija. It is difficult, but it is our job to protect our people,” he emphasized.

Pristina set an ultimatum

Another open threat comes from Pristina: if the KFOR mission does not remove the barricades where Serbs have been demanding basic rights for 15 days, the Kosovo police will do so, reports Novosti.

“KFOR has been asking for some time to remove the barricades themselves. Now we are waiting for them to fulfill their obligation. We have policemen in Jarinje and Brnjak. I believe that KFOR and international factors are determined to do it as soon as possible. For greater stability, we are waiting for those who set it up to get rid of the barricades or KFOR. The wait has come to an end,” Xhelal Sveçla said, and added that they are collecting information on one of the leaders of the Serb List, Milan Radoičić, and that he will soon fall into their hands.

Albanian extremists lost their compass: They draw targets on Vučić family members
Self-determination MP Armend Muja published a list of Serbs to be arrested, including son of President of Serbia, Danilo, as well as his brother, Andrej Vučić.

Albanian extremists have lost their compass; They draw targets on Vučić family members and put them on a “kill list”.

How much of a nuisance are the Serbs and President Aleksandar Vučić to the Prime Minister of the so-called Kosovo’s Albin Kurti is also evident by the fact that they named president’s son, Danilo Vučić, as the main target “for arrest”.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petković, said today that the latest list for the arrest of the most prominent Serbs, which also includes the closest members of the Vučić family, is a frightening drawing of a target on the forehead of the brother and son of the President of Serbia.

“The only thing left is for Kurti to declare the still-minor son of President Vucic Vukan a criminal and put him on his list to be killed. This is another proof that there are lists for the persecution of Serbs that are made in Pristina. It is obvious that Kurti only knows about the arrests and murders of Serbs as his methods of action,” said Petković.

Just to recall, Muja, who is in the same political party as Kurti, published a list of Serbs who should be arrested earlier today.

Self-determination MP Armend Muja published a list with the names of “Serbian criminal organizations” and their leaders, demanding their arrest:

  1. Civil protection, which was formed by Goran Rakić, Igor Simić, Slavko Simić, Miloš Perović, Nenad Djurić and Stevan Pavićević.
  2. North Brigade, formed by Andrej Vučić (brother of President Aleksandar Vučić), Milan Radoičić, Zvonko Veselinović and Radule Stević.
  3. Extremist right-wing organizations linked to Russia, SPC and SANU, People’s Patrol, (Damjan Knežević, Danilo Vučić – son of the President of Serbia and Aleksandar Filipović).

It is known that the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, his brother Andrej, son Danilo, Minister of Internal Affairs Bratislav Gašić and BIA chief Aleksandar Vulin play those games, according to Kurti’s deputy.

He pointed out that the North Brigade and Civil Protection should be declared terrorist organizations, because their leaders are behind the installation of barricades.

“Our citizens in the north continuously inform that the main operatives of these armed gangs behind the barricades are Milan Radojičić, Zvonko Veselinović, Radule Stević, Aleksandar Filipović, Nenad Djurić, Marjan Radojević, Miloš Milovanović, Vladimir Radivojević-Mami, Marko Vukašinović, Lazar Radenković, Milorad Jevtić, Nemanja Jevremović, Srdjan Vulović, Dejan Vulović, Vladica Jovanović, Dragan Radulović, Ivan Aksentijević, Miloš Vlašković, Slobodan Vučinić, Zoran Stevanović, Milan Kompirović, Radovan Radić, Ivo Vučinić, Zvezdan Milojević and Goran Živković”.

Muja added that those individuals have criminal past and that they will have to be brought to justice.

Drecun: Pristina preparing new base in north of Kosovo-Metohija

The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said on Friday Pristina was preparing to open a fifth base in the north of the province, and added that it would be a military one.

Speaking to Pink TV, Drecun said Pristina had used the vehicle licence plate crisis to set up special police bases and establish permanent presence in the north of the province.

“Pristina will use the latest crisis to permanently deploy troops of the so-called Kosovo Security Force in the north of Kosovo,” he said.

He warned that Pristina’s so-called defence ministry had announced that barricades put up by Serbs would be smashed and that the “Kosovo Security Force” would establish presence in all parts of Kosovo-Metohija.

“Realistically, they have been present in the north of Kosovo-Metohija on two occasions. I think the KFOR commander must explain that. Did he approve that, and on what grounds? He did not have the consent of the mayors of the four municipalities in the north,” Drecun said.

He warned the “Kosovo Security Force” already had heavy weapons and that there was a tank training range in Kosovo-Metohija and that Pristina was planning to procure tanks and drones.

He said the “Kosovo Security Force” had increased the number of its troops to nearly 4,500 and that over 2,000 had already completed military training abroad.

He said that, in Albania, the Turkish army was training “Kosovo Security Force” personnel to use Bayraktar drones.

“What does an illegal formation that is contrary to UN SC Resolution 1244 need offensive weapons for? That tells us that Pristina is preparing for serious military and police action,” Drecun said.

Western countries see, hear and know everything, but ignore protests by Kosovo-Metohija Serbs, he said.

“The Serbs are disenfranchised, their human rights and survival are under threat, and Pristina’s unilateral actions are the cause. The Serbs want a peaceful resolution of problems created by Pristina,” Drecun said, adding that statements coming from Pristina were belligerent, brutally threatening and warmongering.

He noted that Germany was Pristina’s biggest backer, while the US had a slightly more pragmatic stance that left space for reaching some solutions.

He said Germany must say what secret acts it was implementing to make the Serbs accept something that was contrary to their interests.

“Have German officials met with Albanian PM Edi Rama and Albin Kurti in Berlin recently, and what was discussed at that meeting?” Drecun asked.

He said Germany maintained a policy of double standards because it supported the territorial integrity of Ukraine at the same time.
