Biden to visit Poland this month: NBC News

Joe Biden will likely travel to Poland near the end of the month, NBC News reported on Monday night, citing three people familiar with the plan.

The sources noted that the visit was not final until the White House confirmed it and the plans could change, Polish state news agency reported.

NBC reported last month that Biden was considering a trip to Europe…highlighting Ukraine’s resilience in the face of the invasion and emphasising America’s solidarity with the Ukrainian nation, according to officials.

A trip to Europe would also give Biden an opportunity to foster greater unity within the US-European alliance, NBC reported.

The US president stressed the importance of that unity last month as he announced that America would send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
