Türkiye-Azerbaijan alliance is a model, tested example to the line to future Turkic Union, says historian scholar Ramin Sadik to the “Krım” news agency….

According to him, the Shusha Declaration signed in June 2021, took relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan to the next level.

“Now two states are allies. One of the most significant articles of the declaration is about security. In other words, if any of the states would be attacked, they will act jointly. As it’s known, Türkiyə supports [the] Azerbaijan Army in training and education for many years. This support still continues. The alliance between Türkiye-Azerbaijan encourages the Turkic countries in the east of the Caspian Sea to take bolder foreign policy steps. In this sense, the support given to the Türkiye-Azerbaijan alliance from the east of the Caspian Sea is of great importance in the emergence and development of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a serious international power in recent times. On the other hand, the Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance is also important for the future transformation of the OTS into the Turkic Union. The Turkish-Azerbaijani alliance is a model, a proven example on the line of the future Turkic Union…,” he stressed.
