18 PKK members killed in drone strike targeting clinic in northern Iraq

At least 18 militants from the…Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) were killed on Tuesday in an airstrike by a drone near the town of Sinjar in northern Iraq, a Kurdish security source said.

The airstrike took place in the afternoon when a Turkish drone bombed a school building used by PKK members as a clinic in a village near the town of Sinjar, some 100 km west of Nineveh’s provincial capital Mosul, Luqman Gally, commander of the Kurdish Peshmerga security forces in the area, told Xinhua.

The airstrike is the second in two successive days, as an aircraft bombed a vehicle in the old market in the center of Sinjar, killing Saeed Hassan Saeed, a leading figure in the Sinjar Protection Units (YBS), also known as Shingal (Sinjar) Resistance Units, and two of his aides, along with wounding two of Saeed’s sons at the scene, according to Gally on Monday.

The YBS is a Yazidi militia formed in Iraq in 2007 to protect the Yazidi community in Iraq….

Turkey shells Syrian towns, killing and wounding civilians

A woman martyred as Turkish occupation and its mercenaries attack Abu Rasin town and surroundings in Hasaka countryside

A woman was martyred and a number of civilians were injured as Turkish occupation [forces] and [their] terrorist mercenaries escalated attacks with artillery and missile shells on the town of Abu Rasin and its surroundings in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka.

Local sources told SANA [Syrian Arab News Agency] that intense missile bombing with more than 50 shells was launched by the Turkish occupation forces and terrorist groups on Tuesday evening on Abu Rasin town and the surrounding villages, including the al-Dardara village in the northwestern countryside of Hasaka, claiming the life of a woman and injuring a number of civilians and causing huge material damage to the people’s properties and homes.

The sources added that the artillery and missile shelling forced a number of families to flee their villages.

Turkish occupation, its mercenaries kidnap a number of civilians in Afrin, Aleppo countryside

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries of terrorist organizations continued their criminal acts against people in the Aleppo northern countryside, carried out raid campaigns, and kidnapped a number of civilians.
