Israeli FM: Decision to open Azerbaijani embassy proves depth of strategic partnership
“Today’s event is attended by high-ranking Israeli officials and the Jewish community,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen at the solemn opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel.
He said that the decision to open the embassy proves the depth of the strategic partnership.
“On behalf of the government and people of Israel, I thank President Ilham Aliyev for his leadership in making this decision. A few days ago, the ambassador of Azerbaijan presented his credentials to the President. I congratulate him on the occasion of his inauguration”.

“The number of tourists coming to Azerbaijan from Israel is increasing,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen at the solemn opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel….
“I am looking forward to my visit to Azerbaijan in the near future after the Pascha (Easter) holiday. I believe that this visit will deepen our economic relations and lead to progress in the field of investment and trade. The potential for cooperation in this field is great, we will work to deepen economic relations,” the minister noted.
